Life events to life coach
I was born and raised in the South East of England, which is where I call home. My parents came some miles to be here. In his twenties my father came to live down here from the Welsh border. My mother journeyed from the Caribbean to the UK when she was a child - revealing my multicultural heritage.
Our family setup changed down the line, my mother and father found new partners which brought new influences to my upbringing and life. A cliché some might say, but I wouldn’t change it for the world!
Talking of the world, I got a strong urge in my early teens to one day live and work abroad. Five or six years on I did exactly that: I spent a year travelling, living, and working in Australia and have gone on to visit countries in every continent apart of the Antarctic! My most recent travels have taken me to Dubai, Portugal and Spain – the excitement of packing a case and heading off somewhere is hard to beat.
Somewhere along the way, I began to really enjoy learning and self-development (unlike my school years). The studies that emerged from that new-found love, which stand out as having significantly impacted where I am and how I’m fulfilled today, is my training with the Life Coaching Academy London - I passed that diploma with merit.
Becoming qualified with the Chartered Institute for People and Development (CIPD) is another one of my stand out achievements. Over time it has contributed to opening doors that have led me to the other work I really enjoy - rolling out training on a variety of projects for a number of organisations in the UK and Internationally.
You might also like to know that your life coach is a spirited cook, has ever growing playlists in Spotify that include anything from Disclosure, Wild Rivers, Ed Sheeran to the odd Aretha Franklin track and that she looks forward to times with family and friends and moments in her own company.
This is me in short. Thank you for taking the time to read about me!
